Yee Jun Tham
Associate Director, China Hub
Yee Jun Tham is an Associate Professor at the School of Marine Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), Zhuhai, China. He obtained his PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2017, and then joined University of Helsinki as a postdoctoral researcher. He joined SYSU in January 2021, and is currently the leader of the Marine Atmospheric Chemistry Research Group. Yee Jun and his research group focus on the atmospheric emission from the ocean, halogen chemistry, and their environmental impacts. He has published more than 60 research articles. He worked as PI in several National and International research projects. He joined Future Earth in December 2024 at Global Hub China.
