Future Earth Asia is a community formed around geographic and thematic research networks that constitute the Future Earth Asia Regional Committee. Through regional integrated actions and leveraging our robust experience in systems science, we work to accelerate the impact of evidence-based science on policy and governance.
Future Earth Asia Regional Committee
Launched in 2023, Future Earth Asia Regional Committee (FE-ARC) is responsible for the strategic coordination of activities in the Asia region. It currently includes 9 national and sub-national Committees, 6 Research Networks, and 4 Future Earth Global Secretariat Hubs. The collaboration is open to regions that do not have National Committees.
Geographical Networks in Asia
National and sub-national networks are an essential part of Future Earth, acting as a hub of information, connections and engagement and providing a practical perspective on Future Earth’s vision and research agenda for its implementation. National and sub-national networks are formed in the following countries and regions in Asia and are emerging in Indonesia and New Zealand.
