Future Earth Australia (FEA) is a national platform to catalyse, collaborate, and connect research and practice for sustainability transformations. Australia plays a crucial role in the Future Earth network, engaging through multiple Global Research Networks such as AIMES, ESG, Health KAN, PAGES, Urban KAN, Water Futures, and the Earth Commission. Australian researchers focus on a wide range of themes, including coastal systems, global carbon cycles, biodiversity, and human health. 

FEA drives impact through transdisciplinary project-based research, producing three National Strategies to date on Urban Sustainability, Just Adaptation, and Sustainable Oceans and Coasts. They connect Australian researchers to FE Global and the Belmont Forum, and drive policy advice on environmental global change within Australia. FEA has a strong focus on supporting future leaders through the Early Career Researchers and Professionals Program.
