Research in China is centered on climate change, air pollution, and atmospheric sciences. The School of Atmospheric Science at Sun Yat-sen University serves as a major hub for these initiatives.

Apart from FE-related projects, China has extensive non-FE programs focusing on similar topics, such as environmental pollution and sustainability. Future collaborations in China are likely to focus on expanding these projects, leveraging strong ties with universities and research institutions.
