TENTATIVE

India’s involvement in Future Earth is through several projects that address issues such as water security, climate change, and biodiversity conservation. Indian researchers actively participate in FE-related activities, working with international and regional partners. Institutions like the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) are prominent contributors to these efforts.

In addition to FE projects, India also engages in a range of non-FE research initiatives focused on climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and renewable energy. India’s growing focus on addressing water scarcity and environmental degradation aligns with Future Earth’s mission, and the country is likely to expand its involvement in global sustainability efforts in the coming years.
